That is why we are deeply committed to growing the diversity of our workforce around the world, especially in leadership, and providing a workplace where people can be themselves so that they can do their best work and thrive. To enable and sustain these outcomes at scale, we are deeply integrating DEIB across all of our talent processes — from sourcing and selection to career development and growth — to ensure that every Splunker feels valued and supported to achieve their career goals at Splunk.

Our Culture of Belonging

Belonging is at the heart of Splunk’s unique and inclusive culture and at the center of our employee experience. Splunk is a place where the multiplicity and richness of our diverse identities, what we refer to as our Million Data Points, are welcomed, celebrated and elevated. A place where individuals of all backgrounds can be their best, most authentic selves, engage in meaningful and purposeful work, achieve their professional ambitions and thrive.

We recognize the importance of individual and systems-level capabilities to achieve our belonging aspirations. To that end, we are continuing to expand our inventory of DEIB learning for all employees, deeply integrate DEIB into our critical talent systems and processes, invest in leading-edge employee health and well-being benefits, and provide employees with the flexibility they need to balance their personal and work lives - from our hybrid workplace model to our generous Personal Time Off (PTO) benefits which include our quarterly Global Rest Days and paid time off for volunteering and community service.

Our nine Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)* are an essential component of our holistic culture of belonging strategy. In addition to elevating employee voices and providing connection and community for Splunkers, they also help build individual and enterprise awareness, action and accountability in service to making our workplace and our business more diverse and inclusive.

Our Recognition

In 2022, we were honored to receive several significant industry accolades, recognizing our ongoing efforts to promote diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging. These include the 2022 HRC Corporate Equality Index: Best Places to Work for LGBTQ (with a perfect score of 100 for the second year in a row), and recognition by Great Place to Work on their Best Workplaces for Parents, Millennials and Technology lists.
